Bring ID where asked
Salvation Army Fairfield and the senior food program at St. Mark's Lutheran Church ask for a photo ID and proof of address. If you have no ID, ask before you go.
Get there early
Fairfield City Church closes when food runs out, and Mount Calvary's Saturday food must be ordered online by the Sunday before. Drive-thru sites keep you in your car.

What food sites are open on the weekend in Fairfield?
On Saturdays: Fairfield City Church from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Liberty Church on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Saturday from 9 to 9:30 a.m., and Mount Calvary Baptist Church on the 2nd and 4th Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with food ordered online by the Sunday before. Is there a food pantry open every weekday in Fairfield?
LOGIC Ministries on Jackson Street distributes Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Catholic Charities Yolo-Solano on Jefferson Street is open Tuesday to Friday, and Fairfield City Church runs Monday to Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
Do I need ID to get food?
It depends on the site. Salvation Army Fairfield asks for a photo ID and proof of address, and the senior food program asks for a picture ID and proof of address. Catholic Charities Yolo-Solano says no documentation is required for emergency food. Each pantry sets its own guidelines, so ask when you call.
How do I know a site is open before I go?

No. Pathfinders for Hope does not run a food bank or pantry. This page organizes the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano's published Fairfield schedule so it is easier to use.

Why Fairfield organizations should watch
A food site can tell someone where to go next. Nobody checks whether they got there. Operation Iron Gate is the referral-accountability pilot Pathfinders for Hope is building in Vallejo, in the same county, so a referral counts as finished when the person arrives, not when it is sent.
Get on the map
Before anyone can be tracked to a resource, someone has to know the resource exists. Pathfinders for Hope is building a community resource map for pilot planning in Solano County. Fairfield pantries, meal programs and every other door people are sent to belong on it. Get on the map.
Follow the Vallejo pilot
