Is Pathfinders for Hope taking intake applications today?

Not yet. Direct intake opens around January 2027. Until then this page cannot accept an intake submission, and Pathfinders will not collect your information until staff are able to follow through. GATEHOUSE, where local agencies coordinate, is already open.

What should I do if I need help right now?

Call 211 for current local referral information. The 211 team can search for shelter, food, health care, and other resources, but availability and placement are not guaranteed. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.

Can I look through local options myself?

Yes. Start with the Vallejo homeless resources directory. It is a practical place to review local options until direct intake opens around January 2027.

What will the future intake queue ask for?

When direct intake opens, the intake form will ask only the core questions. The queue is designed to reduce unnecessary barriers: a government ID, permanent address, sobriety, and your own phone will not be required to request help.

What happens after a referral is made?

How will my information be handled when direct intake opens?

Information will be used for intake and service coordination according to the Pathfinders for Hope privacy policy and your recorded consent. Optional questions can be declined without losing your place in the future queue.
