Bring two IDs

Bring your own shopping bags or a box. Produce markets give about 20 pounds of produce.
One pantry a month
Pantry food is one allotment every 30 days, from one location. Produce markets are separate and have no income requirement.

Where is the Napa food bank?
The Food Bank of Community Action of Napa Valley (CANV) is at 938 Kaiser Road in Napa, where the Napa Food Pantry is open for drop-in Tuesday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and by appointment from 1 to 3 p.m. Call 707-253-6128. CANV also stocks pantries, produce markets and USDA sites across Napa County, all listed on this page.
What do I need to bring?
One person per household brings two forms of ID: one showing your current address and one showing your birthdate. Bring your own bags or a box. CANV also asks for an application, available on its website.
How often can I get food?
The pantries give one allotment of food every 30 days, from one location. Produce markets run on set Fridays, plus every Saturday in Napa, and give produce twice a month. The markets have no income requirement and are open to anyone living in Napa County.
What is open on the weekend?
The produce market at The Father's House Church in Napa runs every Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. CANV does not list any Sunday distributions.
What is the USDA distribution?
Once a month, low-income Napa County residents can pick up six to eight shelf-stable staples, such as peanut butter, cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, pasta and canned meat, at the USDA sites on this page. In Yountville the food is delivered; call 707-253-6128 to be added.
Does Pathfinders for Hope give out food?
No. Pathfinders for Hope does not run a food bank or pantry. This page organizes Community Action of Napa Valley's published schedules so they are easier to use.

Why Napa organizations should watch
A food site can tell someone where to go next. Nobody checks whether they got there. Operation Iron Gate is the referral-accountability pilot Pathfinders for Hope is building in Vallejo, just south in Solano County, so a referral counts as finished when the person arrives, not when it is sent.
