The first call
Call 211 or Resource Connect Solano at 707-346-5870. Say you need shelter tonight and that you are in Fairfield. They check what is open, what you qualify for, and refer you from there.
Walk in if you can: 1840 Capitol Street, Vallejo, Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Tell Resource Connect Solano you have children with you. In Fairfield, the CANB emergency shelter serves individuals and families, and Mission Solano's Bridge to Life center was built for families as well as individuals.
Call 707-346-5870 or 211. Keep the children's documents with you if you have them.
Say you are a veteran when you call. Mission Solano's Bridge to Life center serves veterans, and CANB serves veterans in Solano County.

Call SafeQuest Solano's 24-hour confidential crisis line at 866-487-7233. They support people affected by domestic violence and sexual assault, including people who are at risk of homelessness.

Change and New Beginnings, also known as Community Action North Bay
Emergency shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the City of Fairfield. A 30 to 90 day program focused on stabilization, with temporary housing and supportive services.
Serving Contra Costa, Marin, Solano and Sacramento counties
Operates a homelessness shelter program in Fairfield and permanent housing programs throughout Solano County.
A multi-building shelter in Fairfield
Built for individuals, veterans and families, with 208 beds when it opened in 2012.

A housing assessment identifies the programs you may be eligible for across Solano County.
